Apple releases iBooks 1.1.2, addresses minor bug

Apple today released another update of its e-reader application, the iBooks. The update with version number 1.1.2, comes just four days after Apple released iBooks 1.1.1. Comparing the updates, there is a new line in the What’s New section of the application. “Addresses a minor issue when upgrading iBooks,” the last item reads. It is unknown what the exact issue was and Apple offers no details.

iBooks allows users to download and read books. iBooks includes the iBookstore, where users can download the latest best-selling books or their favorite classics – day or night. Users can browse their library on a beautiful bookshelf, tap a book to open it, flip through pages with a swipe or a tap, and bookmark or add notes to their favorite passages. iBooks is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.2 or later.
